Slacker

Slacker

This Privacy Policy describes how the Slacker app (“the App”) handles user information. The App is published by J-Bow and is designed to provide entertainment and light-hearted content. We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little information as possible.

Information We Collect: The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, the App does not collect: names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, contacts, photos, health data, or financial information. All app content operates locally on the user’s device.

Device Data: Basic technical information may be automatically collected by Apple when you download or use the App through the Apple App Store (e.g. device type, operating system version, anonymous usage diagnostics). This information is handled by Apple according to their own privacy policies.

Advertising: The App may display advertising in order to support free access. Advertising providers may automatically collect limited information (e.g. device identifiers, approximate location, device type, interaction with advertisements). This information is collected and processed by the advertising provider, not by the App developer. For more information, refer to the relevant advertising provider’s privacy policy.

Third-Party Services: The App may use third-party services such as advertising networks that may collect anonymous information. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy: The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it if applicable.

Data Security: Because the App does not collect personal data, no personal information is stored or transmitted by the App.

Changes to This Policy: This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

The Quiet Path

The Quiet Path

Effective Date: 21 July 2026

Thank you for using The Quiet Path. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when using The Quiet Path, how optional advertising works in the free version, and your rights regarding your information.

Who We Are: The Quiet Path is developed and published by J-Bow. If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us via our Contact page.

Using The Quiet Path (Ad-Free Experience): The Quiet Path has been designed with privacy as a priority. Whether you purchase the optional ad-free upgrade immediately or use a version without advertisements, the app operates almost entirely on your own device.

No account required: You are not required to create an account, register, log in, or provide personal details to use The Quiet Path.

Your reflections remain yours: If you write reflections or journal entries within the app:

  • they are stored locally on your own device
  • they are not uploaded to our servers
  • we cannot read them
  • we cannot access them
  • they remain under your control

Deleting the app or your entries removes this information from your device.

Purchases: If you choose to purchase the optional lifetime ad-free upgrade, payment is securely processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. Apple manages purchase verification and restoration through StoreKit.

Contacting Us: If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to send, including your email address. Your email may be retained to respond to your enquiry, provide customer support, or communicate regarding ongoing issues if required. We will never sell your email address or use it for unrelated marketing. If you would like your correspondence deleted once your enquiry has been resolved, please let us know and we will do so where legally permitted.

Using The Quiet Path (Free Version with Advertising): The free version of The Quiet Path may display Google AdMob banner advertisements. Advertisements are currently limited to selected screens within the app, such as the Discover and Settings screens. The app does not currently use full-screen interstitial advertisements, rewarded advertisements, or app open advertisements.

Information collected by Google AdMob: When advertisements are displayed, Google may automatically collect certain technical information necessary to provide advertising services. This may include:

  • device identifiers
  • advertising identifiers (where available)
  • IP address
  • device and operating system information
  • diagnostic information
  • information relating to advertisement delivery and performance

This information is collected by Google and is governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy. Depending on your location, you may be asked whether you wish to receive personalised advertisements. If you decline, Google may instead display non-personalised advertisements. For more information, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob Help.

If You Remove Advertisements: Purchasing the optional lifetime upgrade permanently removes banner advertisements from the app. Once advertisements have been removed, Google AdMob is no longer used to display advertisements while you use the app, and advertising requests will no longer be made during normal use of the ad-free version. Apple may still process information required to validate or restore your purchase.

Third-Party Services: The Quiet Path may make use of services provided by Apple (App Store and StoreKit) and Google AdMob (free version only). Each provider operates under its own Privacy Policy.

Analytics: At the time of writing, The Quiet Path does not use third-party analytics services to monitor how you use the app. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Children’s Privacy: The Quiet Path is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed towards children.

Your Rights: Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to request access to information held about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, and object to certain processing activities. Because your reflections remain on your own device, they are under your control and can be deleted by you at any time.

Changes to This Policy: This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and the Effective Date at the top of this section will be updated accordingly.
